We usually much prefer talking about our clients. However, as you may have already heard, 2023 marks a significant milestone for Walsh & Monaghan as we celebrate our 100th year in business. Fair to say, we’re pretty excited about it.
Established way back in 1923 by South Coast residents Ulrick Walsh & Stan Monaghan, Walsh & Monaghan began as a small real estate and property agency (that even sold chickens on the side!). In the century since then, we’ve grown from two people in one office to a team of 35+ highly skilled and experienced valuers and support staff across four locations in NSW, as well as specialist services interstate.
Driven by high industry standards, independent expertise and exceptional customer service, we’re proud to say Walsh & Monaghan continues to lead the way in property valuation services for individuals, business and government departments.
“The industry has changed considerably in 100 years,” explains Director, Darren Austin. “But one thing that hasn’t changed is what our clients value most about the way we do business: being thorough, fair and professional in everything we do.”
At the heart of the Walsh & Monaghan story also has been the enduring value placed in our people across the organisation.

“Whilst we can’t be entirely sure what the next 100 years holds, we do know the next few months holds a very big party to celebrate!” he laughs.
